Practical AI for Managers
Hand reports, status updates and meeting notes to AI, and spend the hours you win back on your team.
In one day you hand your plans, status updates, meeting notes and reports to AI, and keep the checking and deciding for yourself. The course builds on our free workshops in the “The Most AI-Literate Nation” initiative, where 466 people attended the first session and the trainer scored 4.8 out of 5.

BCG, AI at Work 2025What you leave with
- A map of your team's recurring work, ranked by time spent and by what AI can take over first
- Prompts and templates for planning, meeting notes, status updates and reports, built on your own tasks and ready to share with the team
- A project or production plan, a risk register and a management report, drafted with AI during the day from your own examples
- A method for reading quality and performance data with AI: trends, recurring defects and likely causes, checked against the source
- At least one working assistant or no-code automation that handles a recurring task for you from now on
- Written AI ground rules for your team: approved tools, data that stays out, and who checks the output
- A plan for the first month: the first tasks to hand over, who leads them, and how you will measure the time saved
What the course covers
What AI gets right and wrong
How ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini produce answers, where they make things up, and which company data you can and cannot paste into them.
Where your team's time goes
Map the recurring planning, reporting and coordination work in your team. Score each task on time spent and risk, and pick what to delegate to AI first.
Planning with AI
Turn a brief or an order list into a project or production plan with tasks, dependencies and a timeline. Test what-if scenarios for when a deadline moves or a machine stops.
Meeting notes and action lists
Turn a transcript or rough notes into decisions, owners and deadlines in a fixed format. Prepare the next agenda and the follow-up email from the same input.
Status updates and management reports
Combine scattered updates into one weekly status, then rewrite it for the team, the client and senior management. Draft KPI commentary that explains why a number moved.
Risk lists and quality data
Build a risk register with likelihood, impact and countermeasures, and keep it current. Use AI on quality data in Excel to find trends, recurring defects and likely root causes, then check them against the source.
Delegating to an AI assistant
Brief AI the way you would brief a new colleague: goal, context, format and checks. Build a custom GPT, Copilot agent or no-code flow for one recurring task and test it on real cases.
Team rules and leading the change
Write the AI ground rules for your team and plan the first month: who starts, with which tasks, and how you measure the effect. Prepare answers to the questions and doubts your team will raise.
Who it is for
- Project and program managers who lose hours each week to plans, status reports and steering-group slides
- Production, quality and warehouse managers, foremen and shift leads who work with plans, deviations and quality data
- Department heads and team leads who answer for targets, budgets and their team's output
- Managers new to AI, and those who tried ChatGPT but never got past simple questions
- Managers who joined a free online workshop and want the full day for their own team
- Management teams that want every manager working with AI in the same way
