AI in Your Role: Sales, Marketing, HR and Support

Put AI to work on the tasks your sales, marketing, HR and support targets depend on.

Duration: 1 to 2 days Format: On-site or live online Level: Intermediate

Your sales, marketing, HR and support people put AI inside the tasks their targets depend on, working on live deals, campaigns, open positions and tickets. Everyone shares a morning on advanced prompting and data safety, then builds in the track for their own role.

What the research shows

Figures from published studies and surveys. Each one links to its source.

15%

more issues resolved per hour, on average, once customer support agents got an AI assistant suggesting replies (study covering 5,172 agents)

Brynjolfsson, Li & Raymond, Quarterly Journal of Economics, 2025

16.4%

less time on the task for individuals working with AI, in a field experiment with 776 P&G commercial and R&D professionals

Dell'Acqua et al., The Cybernetic Teammate, NBER, 2025

83%

of sales leaders whose teams use or test AI reported revenue growth in the past year, against 66% of those without AI (survey of 5,500 sales professionals)

Salesforce, State of Sales, 2024

What you leave with

  • A shared prompt playbook for each person's recurring tasks, ready for the whole team to reuse
  • Sales: call briefs built from account research, outreach that sounds like the rep, and call recordings turned into CRM notes and follow-ups
  • Marketing: a brand voice brief the model follows every time, and a workflow that turns one long piece into posts, newsletters and ads
  • HR: a draft training module and onboarding path built from your own documents, plus job ads and screening questions checked for bias
  • Support: reply drafts grounded in your knowledge base, shared macros in one team tone, and clear rules for when a case goes to a person
  • A quality check routine that catches made-up claims, wrong figures and off-brand tone before anything reaches a customer or candidate
  • Clear data rules: what goes into which tool, what stays out, and where the EU AI Act draws the line on hiring and people decisions

What the course covers

01

Advanced prompting (shared morning)

Role, context, examples and output format, plus prompt chains for multi-step work. Each person rewrites one of their weekly tasks as a prompt that returns the same quality every time.

02

Data handling and privacy (shared morning)

Which customer, candidate and company data can go into which tool, how to anonymize it, and how to work with files, spreadsheets and long documents without leaking anything.

03

Quality checks (shared morning)

A short review routine for facts, figures, tone and bias, so every output gets checked before it reaches a customer, a candidate or a manager. We practice it on real AI mistakes.

04

Track: Sales

Account research and qualification, personal outreach at scale, call recordings turned into CRM notes and follow-ups, and proposals drafted from a short brief. The session ends with work on your live pipeline.

05

Track: Marketing and content

A brand voice brief the model follows, one campaign idea taken across channels, AI images that respect usage rights, and a workflow that turns one asset into a full set of posts, emails and ads. A human edit step stays in every workflow.

06

Track: HR and learning

Fair job ads, sourcing and screening questions, onboarding paths and training modules built from your documents, development plans, and analysis of engagement surveys, feedback and people data. We mark where the EU AI Act requires a human decision.

07

Track: Customer support

Replies grounded in your knowledge base, plain-language search across a cluttered help center, long threads summarized before you reply, and shared macros in one tone. We set the points where a person takes over the case.

08

Team playbook and next steps

Each track shows what it built and the group picks the prompts and workflows that go into the shared library. Every participant writes down three tasks they will run with AI next week.

Pick your track

Sales

Reps build a research assistant that turns a company name and your CRM notes into a call brief, plus outreach templates that keep every message personal. They turn a real call recording into CRM notes, next steps and a follow-up email, then draft a proposal for a live deal from a short brief.

Marketing and content

The team writes a brand voice brief the model follows and takes one campaign idea to web, social, email and ads in a single working session. They also build a repurposing workflow for long content and learn to brief AI images within usage rights.

HR and learning

HR builds a fair job ad, screening questions and an onboarding path from documents you already have, and turns a policy or manual into a training module with quizzes. They summarize engagement surveys and feedback, draft development plans and mark the decisions the EU AI Act keeps with people.

Customer support

Agents draft replies grounded in your own knowledge base and search it in plain language, even without the right keyword. They build shared macros in one team tone, summarize long threads before replying and agree on when a case goes to a person.
